    Soft and Hard Top

Over the years, Opac has established itself as a point of reference for the design and production of automobile soft-tops, or roofs made of fabric (for Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Chery, Fiat, Ford, Jansen, MG, Peugeot, Pininfarina, Rolls-Royce and Rover, to name a few) and hard-tops, in other words, with a rigid roof (with Bentley, Ferrari, Ford, Mitsubishi, Pininfarina and Volvo).

The use of specialised technologies, such as hot stamping, microfusion and self-lubricating centres of rotation, guarantee over a million cycles of use for our simplest soft-tops and our most sophisticated hard-tops alike.

    Self-reversing bodies

Numerous Automobile Producers have involved Opac in the production of special small-run series. These include Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Boschert, Pininfarina, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Rover, MG, Fiat Auto Corse, Jensen, Lamborghini and Volvo. For all of these Producers, Opac has created complete production lines for limited-series automobile bodies, including all the equipment for manual and automated assembly.

    Opac, a point of reference

Today, Opac continues its search for new, cutting-edge technological solutions, experimenting with new composite materials used in combination with classic sheet steel.

Here, as elsewhere at Opac, traditional craftsmanship is blended with advanced technological research.
